- T-Online, InteractiveMedia and HORIZONT issue invitation
- New: Special "Efficiency" Prize

Darmstadt, October 12, 2005. - This year again, T-Online International AG, InteractiveMedia CCSP GmbH and media partner HORIZONT are inviting creative users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to submit their best online advertising campaigns to www.newmediaaward.de. The closing date for entries is December 31, 2005. A new highlight is being included to mark the tenth anniversary of the New Media Award: for the first time, there will be a special prize for particularly effective and efficient online campaigns. The prestigious partner for this Special Efficiency Prize is the General Association of German Communication Agencies (Gesamtverband Kommunikationsagenturen GWA e.V.).

As Arndt Groth, CEO of InteractiveMedia CCSP GmbH, points out: "Ten years of the New Media Award - that's an impressive demonstration of top creative performance and achievement. The industry has long been aware of how innovative online advertising can be. The new Special Efficiency Prize - a feature of this anniversary year - will underscore the effectiveness and efficiency of this field of advertising."

All entries will be judged by a distinguished panel of experts, who will determine the winners in the categories "online", "crossmedia" and "young creation", in addition to the Special Efficiency Prize. The outstanding personality who takes the coveted New Media Award in the "people" category will be determined by votes cast by the internet community on the www.newmediaaward.de website between January 1 and February 15, 2006. Excitement right to the last minute is again guaranteed in the "permission" category: the audience can vote by SMS for one of three top permission campaigns during the awards ceremony.

The organizers will be welcoming more than 600 guests from the worlds of media and advertising to the tenth anniversary celebrations and NMA awards ceremony in Frankfurt's Palais im Zoo on March 30, 2006.
